Ingredients

  • ½ cup moong dal
  • 1 cup spinach (palak), chopped
  • 1 tsp ghee
  • ½ tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 small garlic clove
  • 2 cups water

Instructions

  1. 1Cook dal with water until soft.
  2. 2In a pan, heat ghee and add cumin and garlic.
  3. 3Add spinach and cook until wilted.
  4. 4Mix in cooked dal and simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. 5Serve warm with rice or roti.
